In response to the recent impact of COVID-19, NERC has implemented a new component outage code that will allow us to more efficiently identify events related to changes in operations as a result of the pandemic. NERC has added component code 9015 – Pandemic for reporting component outages that are related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an (OMC/Catastrophe) component outage code listed within the External Component Outage Causes.
